Hey, i noticed that Eamon Holmes posted a thread with regards to the new GrassMaster pitch being installed by Desso/Hewitts at the moment.

I used to work for Desso and i can 100% vouch for it's greatness. The new playing surface will be excellent and we certainly won't be able to blame the pitch for any of our woes in the future. The GrassMaster system is brilliant as it holds the natural turf together and prevents divots and undulations. Hewitts are an excellent natural turf contractor and they'll do us proud.

Just in case you're wondering if i'm promoting Desso via this forum, i would add that i left a few years ago due to problems they had with producing artificial turf. The GrassMaster has always served them well and we'll now join the ranks of Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal, Real Madrid, AC Milan etc who have GrassMaster - you'll do well to find any of the current pitches having bad press that use this system.

I just wanted to say that it's definitely a good thing for the club and shows TF investing in the right areas.

If anyone wants to know more about it, please ask.

I used to work for a contract flooring company and they dealt with a Desso. Is that the same Company?

Yes, Desso had 80% of their business in commercial/domestic carpets and 20% in artificial turf and GrassMaster.
