Tottenham and their £100m+ signings failed to register a shot on target too. Although the highlight for me was the performance of Henderson and Sterling mainly.
was a 10 min spell 2nd half where i was glad i didn't have a curry as it was squeaky bum time, apart from that wtf did £104 mill get spent on lol. Hendo Allen and Stering had brilliant games,Luis was his usual quality obviously, and Coutinho just keeps getting better.
I had faith we'd beat them tbh, good to see others stepping up in the absence of sg. and ds, well done br for ripping spurs a new one.
Well done your mob. An impressive result, espeicially away from home. Congratulations. Now, I am just waiting for the encore: the inevitable AVB whine-fest.
TBF my squad of Premier League players on FIFA Ultimate Team contains 7 Spurs players; Lloris, Vertonghen, Walker, Paulinho, Dembele, Eriksen, and Sandro (bench). The only players that would replace them if I could afford them are Yaya Toure, Suarez and Mata. AVB just isn't as good at football as me.
Spurs under the right manager (who knows given time, AVB may be that man), should be doing a lot better than they are, that Spurs squad IMHO is second to Citys. Just don't feck up against Cardiff, need to put them to the sword like we've done to all (apart from Southampton) teams this season at home.
Things Simon Mignolet did at WHL 1. Smoked four cigars 2. Read chapter four of Bravo Two Zero by Andy McNab 3. Celebrated five times 4. Clipped his big toenail on his left foot as he missed it out during his usual pre-match clippings 5. Ordered a new pair of slippers from M&S on his iPad 6. Got assaulted by Roberto Soldado 7. Went through his list of Christmas card recipients three times to check he had everyone 8. Laughed at Aaron Lennon 9. Had a little nap 10. Went back to the dressing room five minutes early out of boredom
minger.... god he is shaky. dropped on right in the pen area and then miscontrolled and JUST got in front of soldado when it was shoulder to shoulder... lucky lucky... can make a wonder save but.... i wish he was more decisive and consistent
Having become used to Reina being so good with the ball at his feet it does make me nervous when Mig tries to play football. I think we've just been spoilt.
I do worry when our players pass the ball to Mig and he then passes it to Skrtel. When Skrtel is a better option than you on the ball you must be shocking Still, as long as he stops the ball going in the net with his hands/body I don't mind too much. Not many keepers are top draw in both shot stopping and wit the ball at their feet.
God mate don't get me started Skrtel and Mignolet playing the ball back and forth to each other.. Makes me nervous as **** Agreed. Reina being one of them
In the first minute when Mig passed it to Skrtel out wide... then Skrtel ****ed around with it, turned around, rolled it back to Mig and he whacke dit out of play I thought it was going to be one of those days
I thought Migs had ****ed up in the first minute but he fooled the attacker #quality Unfortunately, he ****ed up a clearance immediately afterwards #argh
What a fantastic performance! My lad is a Liverpool fan, I couldn't brain wash him into supporting Ipswich! We went to the Lane today and it was just brilliant from start to finish! We sang our hearts out to Fields of Anfield Road. The Liverpool giant is starting to wake and god help the rest of the Premiership based on a performance like this!
