I know i'm a bit old for that but.

For the first time i belive in 40 years (With the exception off Marin George)
We have owners that are putting money in to the club rather than chairman and directors proping up themselves using our club for the purpose.

The sadly missed mr Bennett offered to put in a million quid into the club if his fellow directors would stump up some cash....Well guess what they did not and he headed off to Newcastle and put his money in with Sir John Hall.

I am sure the end game for the owners is to recoup there investment like any good businessman but they are risking their OWN money in the process.

What really sealed it for me was their gesture to the Birtch, these guys and girls (sorry Susan) understand what our old geazer represents us the fans our passion and our dedication to the club.

This is the positive time i have known at the club even under MON we new he was never going to get the money to finish the job

The owners have said they don't intend to make money from a quick sale of the club as a Premier League going concern but as a long term retail opportunity. Let's hope they are as good as their word and we are not singing 'sack the Thais' any time in the future.

Ive heard we are big in Thailand (think there was a tread here or on 606 about it), and i guess other countries around it.

Its a bit like Man United, SJ Park gets the most fan mail, more than Rooney, my guess is that most of this comes from Asia. This is where i think the Abe>Man City story would make sense, wouldn't make the team, but would be a good investment for Man Citys income/interest from Asia.

.... i forget my point .... but yes! Glad to have the Thais here with us, showing good investment both on and off the pitch.
