I think every member should only be allowed on one board

As in a member called 'LIVERPOOL24' is only allowed on the liverpool board, and 'ARSENALARETHEBEST' only allowed on the Arsenal board, etc, etc. You pick a team when you sign up, existing members get a notification, etc, etc.

This would stop the annoying WuMming that ruined 606. Banter could go in a seperate place, I guess.

Of course, this doesn't stop people creating ALT accounts, but that is possible now anyway.

I'm 100% sure this would be beneficial to not606.

 

I think you should be allowed free hotdog refills at Ikea.

You get a free soft drink refill so why not a hotdog refill?

 

Terrible idea IMO. It would just lead to obscene ammounts of multiple accounts.

Why have a discussion forum for all the leagues when you can only discuss your own team.
You might as well go on a forum dedicated to your team

I can see some people have already dealt with this.

 

Once the moderators are in place, the WUMs will get bored of posting articles that are deleted within ten seconds of going up.

 

There has to be a level of banter for a multi club forum to survive.

Thats what made 606 great. What let it down was pointless and stupid wums who did 1 liners and then didnt reply once.

Banter is great, normal people give as good as they get and dont need to resort to threats.

Of course all pointless wums should be treated with great disrespect.

and FYI, it was the wums that made 606 great back in the day, classic banter. It's the moaning whinging grasses that spoiled 606.

 

Totally agree about the whiners and grasses on 606. It just encouraged multiple accounts and people trying to wind someone up and then run to the Mods to get them banned!!!!

I like to do the honest of removing crap posts. However the OPs suggestion of everyone just using one forum on here is crazy when I like General Chat,Formula 1,Newcastle,Sunderland and other forums

 

Common sense moderation is all thats required

If a user goes on to a rival teams board with an original wind up that should be encouraged.......but going on to say they're crap or hundreds of threads about the same boring subject should be removed to provoke full debate on on the one thread.

Too much moderation will result in 606, which as the title of this site suggests it is not
