Luis Suarez is a disgraceful human being. I still haven't forgotten how he cheated his team to the World Cup semi-final. He has played no small part in allowing racism to gradually work its way back to acceptability. This argument about his words having another meaning in Uruguay just don't hold any weight. If that had been the case he should've come out to categorically disown racist behaviour, instead he refuses to shake Evra's hand and worse, Kenny Dalglish is quite happy for the racist disease to spread like a virus.

If that prick had scored a hat trick at Portman Road i'd feel sick to my stomach so for once I take no pleasure in a player scoring a hat trick at Carrow Road.

Well said Hampy, it's bad enough to lose at home, but to lose to the goals of a man like that makes the pill much more bitter!

No arguments about the result, on the day we were pisspoor and they gradually gained confidence from that! Not sure what's happened to our team, they are just a shadow of the team that started the season! Could it be tiredness? I wouldn't have thought so! Maybe it's a touch of complacency, if that's the case, I trust Paul Lambert to sort it! <ok>

To be honest, being a Liverpool fan aside, it's highly unlikely that Suarez is a racist. Half his family are black for goodness sake. All his black team-mates at both Liverpool and Ajax supported him. As flawed as Liverpool's handling of the situation was, they would have condemned him if he was definitely guilty - even just because it's good business.

Call him nasty, call him and idiot, call him a cheater - fine, because he is, but the real problem is that he's just ANOTHER nasty, idiotic, cheating player.

    Oh god another do gooder.

I don't really like his attitude either - but you make it sound like he's Stalin or something.

Get a grip of yourself man. I bet there is one or two just like him in your squad who simply havent been exposed.

Scousers so defensive of Suarez <doh> I hate Chelsea as much as anyone but at least many of them said after Terry's past they'd want him out if he is found guilty <ok>

Spot on mate. Remember we had Bellamy as a youngster, Peter Mendham, Ched Evans on loan. The fans can't control the antics of the players. The club can of course. But Liverpool are unlikely to kick out their best player are they?
Marlon King, Lee Hughes are still playing and making a good living but are just above cockroaches, in my flawed opinion. But I bet the supporters of the teams they play for cheer every time they score.
It appears everything has two faces.

<applause> Very well said that man <ok>

and good to see you did not need to resort to generalisations and insults to make your point - Davidako, take note

You'll not get a bite with those comments, JWM. No one will argue that, it was a brilliant hat-trick and a superb 3rd goal. I defy anyone to say otherwise and remain serious while doing it.

Cheers lads, don't understand the hate for Norwich, always had a soft spot for you lot since the last time you were in the Premier League.

Football fans as a rule are far too partisan - 'he said this, you did that'.

At the end of the day, it's unlikely that he is a racist. He is many things, but probably not that. None of us know but Suarez himself. There are probably racists at lots of football clubs who simply haven't been exposed, just like there are racists all over the world in many different jobs who haven't been exposed.

At the centre of the problem is our expectation that footballers should be model human beings - because they're not. You wouldn't expect it from a builder, or a solicitor or a model or whatever, so it's naive to expect all footballers to be paragons of virtue.
