I'm outraged by this!

Why is out player living so far away from Melwood? All that extra commute and time on the road is not going to help relax him! It's adding unnecessary stress. I hope he has property closer to Liverpool! SURELY he must have closer living space. It's 4hrs each way according to Google Maps.

He's been with us long enough he could have moved by now... also- news article treats it as if he is still developing his property/ new trees, etc. So doesn't sound like he is leaving.

I reckon if he tightens his budget he could afford a small 1 bedroom flat in Liverpool to stay in when needed <ok>

I used two trees! They were placed ideally apart to be goal posts.

We used to use the spuds we'd just pulled fresh out the sod as goal markers, worked alright as long as Fergus the strange didn't eat em raw

Jumpers are the only real goalposts.

Spear is a wrestling move like this...

When this rule was in force if you were in the 'area' with the ball - not always a full size one as this was played on proper pitches and down the fields/wasteground wherever - and didn't shoot within 5 seconds then it was fair game for keeper to spear you. A few windings happened. Whoever got speared everyone would run over and chant 'spear spear spear spear!' over him as he was rolling around on the ground.

We tried tying the dog to the fence at the appropriate distance, and even give him a bone to stay there. f**er tried to run away the first time he got hit. Also tried to bite the ball as it crossed the line.

    Loyal best friend my arse.
