Can't we have a pic that shows a big enough atmosphere. It really does look quite bad when there isn't any sort of 'capacity'... Or alternatively can't we have one of the team, or a few of the players in action, or celebrating... A pic like mine in my opinion would look really good haha... COYR!
I think the banner is very representative of the way your stadium looks these days, unless of course Pompey are in town!
Is the only reason you're on this board is because there are no 'species' of your own on the Pompey board...
I posted a few images that fitted the spec, one with a full stadium and Kenwyne doing his celebration with Drew Surman joining in. Also posted another of a full St Mary's that fitted the spec but the mods seem to prefer half-empty pics FFS. My suggestions are on the "New Banner" thread.
JDub Saint the decision of the banner was taken by the members...therefore I took there feedback to the website owner. Looks and read at the banner thread

Hi mate, Kingsland did ask for assistance over this going back a while now. Trouble was we had a certain spec at the time which we did not understand nor did anyone else for that matter. A few suggestions were sent up as I understand and a few posted on here as a guide. To be honest there didn't seem to be much interest or suggestions made. The few that were acceptable for posting was discussed and this was the best available at the time I believe. At least you can see it is St Mary's rather than a grass field. I have no Idea whether they would entertain changing it yet again as it has taken this quite a long time to come on line as well!! So it may be the best we can do for now....sorry.
No probs, glad you approve. After the season will be looking for new banner idea's come the new season in the Championship
Thanks for the update Beddy. Whilst I agree with what JDS is saying, taking the positive, at least we've got our own personalised banner. As the forum is still in its infancy, maybe it can be modded at a later date. Anyways, it gets a definate from me. Once again thanks to you two for all you do behind the scenes. COYR
Is this not a massive sign inviting in the wums, I mentioned on the new banner thread that any stadium shots would have to be of a FULL stadium, alas my warnings have not been listened too
Find a website which has wide photo with a picture of the whole of SMS FULL then PM me the link! It was members who voiced their approval for this pic so thats I requested it to be implemented. Regarding WUMs - Think we can take criticisms on the chin and dish it banter back!
That's a fair comment.... The only people that would come over and comment in my view is likely to be Our Pompey neighbors. Quite frankly I do not see that as a problem.....that is what our stadium would look like with their average crowd anyway. To be fair I can't see that they are going to be interested in that unless we try to make it into something it ain't. It clearly shows it is St Marys that's all that matters!
