Wish I could get angry but I cant, at the end of todays game I sat in the stadium, one by one the fans left and I just sat. We had a team including Bardo the warrior. Mensah the rock, Sess the skillfull, Henderson Englands next big thing, Catts the hard man, Welbeck the destroyer and Gyan 13 mil of class. So why did I see the same old Sunderland? why was I left so numb? Why do I feel so let down? Dont get me wrong, I can accept a loss, I know the ref was poor but a poor ref should make us fight harder. Lets not blame Bruce or Quinn, no easy its all the refs fault. 2 weeks of best training facilities, diets, rest, big pay packets and all I ask is 100% effort for 90 minutes. Not for the first time I was left feeling very let down. Maybe the anger will come later.
Referee got the penalty decision wrong , but to be honest you really didn't help yourselves today with the performance. Too many mistakes. You have to admit that was a special goal by Suarez though , although I think (Five past) Mignolet was at fault there. Oh and the dead atmosphere didn't help , sorry. Liverpool fans sang throughout , you were extremely quiet. If you're going to fill a stadium , at least try and get behind them.
Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong today. Don't know about anyone else but I am sick of these 2 week breaks - got ages to wait before we can try and put it right
we were just...slow, i think thats the be all and end all, we couldnt break or counter attack as we had predictibility on the left side with bardo and malbranque and down the other end every single long ball left us exposed
We aren't good enough to beat Liverpool. No shame in admitting that, they're in terrific Premier League form. At least we showed some promise in possession.

Stoke - Mistakes cost us 3points Chelsea - no digrace in losing to them Spurs - same as Chelsea they are in champs league last 8 Everton - when was the last time we won at Goodison Arsenal - draw at the emirates is good for anyside Liverpool - in top form we have had a solid run in and it continues against Man City in 2weeks which will be another test however after Man City I am confident we will get in the points as we have a good final stretch to the end of the season
All season (and longer) we have had the same problem, not scoring during periods of dominance, first 30 was good, pressing them everywhere, nice passes, but just no shots, no goals. tell you what really boiled my p*ss tho, suarez going down like he had been mugged then up and being congratulated by his team-mates when mensah had been shown red. Its nothing new i know, but damn it grips my ****
couls still be playing now, and we still wouldn't have scored, kind of reminds me of a poor mans arsenal, decent up to the box then nowt, remember all the great arsenal sides, great to watch but try to walk the ball into the net, 1 shot on target and that was from catts says it all
I have posted a few times voicing my concern about us not being able to convert shots to goals. However 1 shot on target is a completely different problem. I understand that Liverpool’s defence was as tight as a ducks arse but one shot on target….. not good enough
So much of this talk pisses me off. Five months ago, we were crowing about being unbeaten by all the top ten sides - and now just listen to the lame excuses. Liverpool are the league's form team, no shame in losing to Chelsea, to 'Spurs, blah, blah, blah. When Floyd Patterson lost his world title to Ingemarr Johansson, he went into the mountains for a whole year. He never once saw his wife, he lived like a monk and trained like a lunatic. He got old champions into his camp to advise on where he could improve. And - most important of all - he hung a poster of Johansson on the wall opposite his bed. He lay there alone every night for a year, and just stared at it. In the return fight, he did something no fighter does - he leapt into the air and hammered one of the most vicious punches I've ever seen down on Johansson's temple. Johansson just dropped like a stone. Patterson became the first heavyweight champ ever to regain his title. If any player on that field on Sunday does not feel the hurt and the shame of losing to Liverpool, I want him out of this club this summer. Because it's the hurt, the pain, the shame, the anger of losing that drives your bad habits out and gives you the thirst for better habits. If you're not hurt and ashamed at losing, you'll always be a loser. Let's look at what we were saying about the future of this club six months ago - and get back to that. A loss - to anybody - doesn't warrant lame excuses. It warrants work and thought to ensure it never happens again.

now you can see why I delete most of his posts. I really have no problem with Newcaste fans wuming, I have a big problem with this dickhead. He has started 7 threads, 5 on our board and 2 on Newcastles, one was about teddy bears and one had one reply. All his posts are on our board, none with sensible debate. Banning the idiotseems a good option.
whats wrong is simple, the idea of this forum is for fans to comment on their teams first and maybe to wum second. All you do is comment and wum on the Sunderland board. If you see that you are at fault, if you dont see it you are stupid. Go and comment about your team or take the chance by staying on here, up to you.

Like to say I stayed till the bitter end yesterday but I didn't. First 30 minutes we were at them from the off and my optimism knew no bounds then the so called penalty decision came and went with Liverpool 1 up. After that we folded badly didn't play and let Liverpool boss the game. When Catts got booked the lad sat next to me said we will lose this now the refs a TOTAL ATTW (please rearrange at your discretion). Then 1 0 down and chasing the game what does SB do takes off a Striker and puts on a winger whose job is to get balls into the box for the strikers who are not on the pitch anymore. Total clusterf()ãk of a game for us with not one thing going our way, on a more positive note Man City away next so another god awful display and lame excuses coming from the top at SAFC.
