Two frightfully lucky goals for those Chelsea chaps. If I had one complaint for that nice chap PDC. I would have subbed Wickham who put in a very good shift closing down first half but had clearly run his course second half! (Apart from when that nasty fellow Luiz looked and then elbowed him. That linesman chappy surely needs glasses?) Apart from our ****ing luck, damn fine first showing for the manager. Much more positive going into the rest of our games. At least the players showed they have the ****ing balls for a fight.
Our wingers were befuddling the Pensioners full backs. Our defence were topping - absolutely resolute in the face of a masterful attack. The defence was staunch, to say the least. Midfield harried, threatened and were determined to not be second best. Dont forget the exuberance of our youthful attack. It is most pleasing that we don't have to resort the our masterful Flemish goal-defence being man of the match. Hip-hip, hooray! Hip-hip, hooray! Hip-hip, hooray! Permission to take hats off and loosen top shirt button, chaps. x
Great first half. Tired second half, players not use to the high intensity play yet, something that will improve in the coming weeks. Encouraging stuff, Wickham strong as an ox That lucky equaliser they got gave them the momentum. Once they went ahead they sat back and we couldn't break them down Roll on the mags!
