I'm not even going to get angry...

What I want to know is... how on earth can someone be so tactically inept...?

    How... I mean...

Was that supposed to be our attempt at an offside trap? Against a side with pace?

Pardew.... I mean... what goes on in your head?

Simple lob balls got Liverpool straight through our defence...

Do we sack Pardew now? Will it do any good? Usually sacking your manager is a bad thing at this stage of the season, but Pardew can't even get his players up for a game anymore.

Usually if he can't get it tactically right, he gets the team up and playing.

Some of the players don't even look like their head is in the game. Debuchy looked like he tried to get himself sent off so he could get an early night.

    Ratings -

    Actually, I can't be bothered.

All I'm going to say is that I'm proud at the amount of fans that still stayed to the end. Still a good 25k.

It's the worst I've ever seen. Pardew's post match intervew was just as bad and made worse because it was heard after Sunderland debacle. Talk of "fighting to the end" when there was not a lick of fight all match, the home match that followed a derby embarrassment. What bigger incentive is needed? He said "it is very important we get that win" which has been the case against Wigan, West Brom, Sunderland and now Liverpool. What difference West Ham? None, except if he's still in charge, the same result will follow and the same comments after that. He talks about the need for "experience" in his team selection for the next match (which I still pray he won't be in charge for); like who? Who was missing then, Alan? Coloccini? If he was fit and available, why wasn't he playing. So we don't have enough experience in Saylor, Debuchy, Cabaye, Tiote, Perch, Cisse, Jonas et al? What is he talking about?

He is taking us down. Both Villa and Wigan have competent managers.

    This.

It was the worst 90 mins I've ever seen, honestly.
It was as if our players just didn't give a **** anymore.

The straw has finally broken for me and I now wish to see Pardew leave, although at the end of the season.
He really hasn't a clue tactically.
We would have more points now if we didn't have Pardew and Carver just read Tash's formation porn predictions.

I'm with you Tash. I don't know what to say. I have defended Pardew all season but I feel so angry at the minute that I doubt anything sensible would come out if I tried talking about it. The score was bad but the performance upset me most.

Just feel like burning my shirts. Never felt this before, I know tomorrow I'll be back behind them like always but Pardew just needs to get out. The guy has destroyed this club.

We've felt this before. We've had a longer list of **** in charge of this club than any other in the top flight.

Gutless, spineless, clueless and more today. Possibly the worst performance I have witnessed ever. As soon as they scored their third our heads went down and it was a case of how many they would get. Today I finally lost faith

Liverpool fan in peace. Not a wum, actually really like NUFC. Here's what I thought.

Perch and Tiote to start holding midfielders looked like playing for the draw. Your team didn't look like they had any attack, with a 4-5-1 and two defensive mids. Should've had Ben Arfa start. No attack in the first half. Second half, your team started really well, with Ben Arfa creating more. After the third goal, your team looked like they saw the game as over. Frustrating for me to see, even as a Liverpool fan. Debuchey looked frustrated, and his tackle could've just as easily been a straight red. Glad it wasn't.

On the subject of Pardew, I do believe he looks like he has no idea nor the dressing room. I wouldn't fire him now, but during the summer I would. If you stay above the relegation zone, which I really hope you do, I would go for Rafa Benitez or another high quality manager. At the moment, the only one who is available that I think would be decent is Di Matteo, but I think your board should hold out for the summer.

I didn't leave... My brain just went into self-defence mode and I started taking the piss out of our own players to amuse myself until full-time (there was always the chance we'd score 6 to dramatically draw it, don't you know...). The game is entertainment, and I got my money's worth. Shame it was from the opposite team for the umpteenth time this season, eh?

Some good singing in the end from our lads, even amongst the discontented souls, but I just don't care at the minute (I really want to, but I'm struggling to even feel anger or disappointment).

My thoughts on the game, without having read anything about it as yet. Their first goal looked massively offside and the linesman looked asleep, and in general I thought Marriner had a shocker. I mean, f*** sake, they would hump us anyway, no need to rub it in! The inconsistency especially was disgusting. Johnson was on a yellow and did the same thing Sturridge and Debuchy did to earn a yellow, yet gets away with it <doh>

Debuchy had a decent game til the red card, and won many battles fairly, only to be ridiculously penalised by the ref (the one where Enrique assaulted him off the pitch as he sped past, before Andre gave a free-kick to Liverpool <doh><doh><doh>).

Other than a 10 minute second half-spell (at the end of which they scored <doh>), Liverpool dominated and deserved to hump us. Their fans were good, but I suppose it's easy winning 6-0. Thought the Suarez songs were distasteful and pathetic, however.

On first look, I would've agreed. However, watching the replay, Steven Taylor kept him onside. He had a bit of a nightmare that game, unfortunately. Johnson easily could've, and should've, had the second yellow, but sometimes that's just how the game goes. Don't think it would've made much of a difference at that point, though.

    Fair enough Red Baron <ok>

Said I hadn't read anything or seen anything about it since leaving the game, and now I know we haven't even the crumb of comfort of some injustice I can cry in my bedroom like a deflowered princess <wah>. Doesn't surprise me someone had a shocker for the goal in a game of constant shockers...

cannot pick any player that played well ..liverpool hads loads of energy ..and looked dangerous all the time ..

we lack attacking minded players .. to many holding players ..and it showed today .

i actually think the players need flack aswell cause that was pathetic .

ben arfa and marvueau only real creative players.

we did have chances perch should of scored and cabaye should of controlled better to have clear goal scoring postion but didnt ..was dissapointed in him. today.

keeper to slow not good enough either .

hope we can survive .. but injuries has killed the season in my view nufc cannot keep players fit .. thats a fact

Also... was it just me, or was it Rob in that Monty costume being embarrassed by kids at half-time? Indistinguishable from his performance for the first 85 minutes of the game!

Stayed until the final whistle - To be honest I think Pardew has lost the dressing room. They don't want to play for him. These are international players ffs. They don't look interested.

Do you think that your defeat had anything to do with the way your team played ?

I hope he does not get sacked, you have players there that could do well under a decent manager. Some like Tiote though have been way over rated, what has happened to Cabaye of late, does not look like he knows what he is supposed to be doing
