I really hope

that Jermaine Pennant will be given a new contract under Hughes, hes the best winger we have and we missed him massively last season. He has said on twitter that he wants to stay at Stoke and would take a new contract.

 

I hope so too and that Hughes has the balls to get shut of Shotton as well!

 

Now that would be a double whammy, bring it on My Hughes.

 

I really rated Pennant in his first eighteen months with us and he was on the verge of a England call up too. He only went **** for us after he had a bust up with Rafa

 

Pennant was good for us for a similar period but his problems are more off the pitch. He is however the best winger we have and a lot of Stoke fans wanted him in the team last season but he upset Pulis and that was that.

 

I prefer Etherington but he seems to have disappeared too

 

Etherington has not been the same player now for the past 2 seasons!

 

According to this Shotton's contract is also up, as is Whitehead's.

 

they arent renewing Whiteheads but im not sure about ****tons, hopefully he will be gone and be able to play in league 1 where he belongs

 

I think he is gone to good now mate although I would love to see him playing well for us again. Wouldn't surprise me if he tried to get Bentley.

 

Don't think Shotton will go as they are on about using academy players not getting rid of them, if we have to keep him I hope he goes out on loan as he is just not good enough for the first team.
