players leave our club. Not many go on to better things when you look at our former players. When you look at them now, not many play well each week like they did here, if they play at all. So why players like Colo, Tiote and Krul would leave is beyond me if they really do value playing football.

Andy Carroll-Obviously the most famous flop and at Liverpool hardly ever plays and when comparing Ba and Carroll, you would think their price tags are reversed. Carroll for £35M is like paying £100 for a big mac. You just wouldn't do it.

Shay Given-Ok so he has had an alright start at Villa but he left for City and was frozen out after a year. He isn't as highly regarded as he was when he was here.

    Obafemi Martins-Where is he now?

Habib Beye-Plies his trade for Doncaster, not too good for the Championship now then Habib?

Michael Owen-Gets paid for nursing his injuries at the race course with the occasional goal against Leyton Orient in the Nobody Cares Cup.

Sebastian Bassong-4th choice CB at Spurs and hasn't really improved since leaving.

Jose Enrique-Ok so he hasn't done badly at the Bindippers but when looking at the league table what is the difference between us and them. Nothing.

They're pressurised by agents a lot of the time.
    Especially Carroll.

Dealing with hindsight here. When they all moved i think you could say most of them went to better sides than us as we were in the Championship/Given went to City team on the up, Carroll went to liverpool a huge club (as much as i hate it)

Yeah I get that but surely all of these should act as a deterrent to move

Andy Cole did alright after leaving. Ginola too. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

But then you could look at someone like maybe milner who has bettered himself since leaving here. I can see what you're saying but i think each transfer is different to the next

Scott Parker has done well, so has Milner and Enrique, N'Zogbia played well for Wigan after he left. Gary Speed also, and Andy Cole

Because they think the grass is greener on the other side, and will always think that until they experience it directly.

Sometimes it is greener, sometimes it isnt.
