Just thought I would open up this thread with the opportunity for my detractors to get in their shots first. However my help is required for something completely different in that I want to change my 606 name. No ROD it is not because I am trying to hide but for the much simpler fact that Ann and I are on the move to the west coast of Canada. We have just bought a new house in Qualicum Beach right next to the ocean or rather the Straits of Georgia to be more correct. I will be off air for some time in late September and will not return until early October, much to the applause of some on this site. My new intended handle will be Islandmike and could someone help me to change the name (to protect the innocent) and keep my credits? Once we have moved my participation will certainly drop off somewhat but the negativity will continue but only time will tell on that front. To end my diatribe I just want to say how pleased I am at the way Bristol City are performing this season and if they keep it up who knows what will happen. (just for you ROD-lol)

Go to control panel, top right next to log out. Then user profile, on the left hand side of the page. You can change your user name there. Beware once you change it you can't change it for a month, so make sure you have spelling etc correctly. I changed mine once messing around and was stuck with it, only to find out after a month someone took my original name so I had to put BCFC, on the end of it. Or alternatively give me your password and I will change it for you, you know I can be trusted with these details Don't take what I said personnelly, it was just saying watching the game compared to listening or reading BBC text is totally different.
Perhaps I should just stay my own sweet self if it's that much trouble. Nothing taken personally ROD and I just enjoy the banter. Up, up and away EH?
Click control panel in the top right of your screen It will take you to a new page. On the left hand side in a box it says "my settings" In that box click "Edit Profile" This will then take you too a new page. It asks you if you would like to edit your email & Password, Under that it says "Team you support". Then finally under that it says Username Change - Optional Change your name and then go to the bottom and save changes. That's how you would change your name mike
if you are off air for a while why not enter all the compo's with a fixed result or go through them and post like 2-1 home 1-2 away 2-2 home crowd 14*** time of goal ** mins that way you might pick up the odd few points
