    What kind of job is it? If it is IT you could have diagrammatic reasoning, number series, syntax checking.

    most of these tests tend to be straight forward if they are job specific

    If they are psychometric tests then try not to be clever, they are set up to ask the same question differently and most people give replies that are at odds
    hence the failure

    I'm applying for a job in Finance for Centrica.

    You could be right. I'm delaying taking the test until I got the rest of my application up to standards.
