Ok so what Andy Gray (or is it Grey?) said was wrong but please Sky, Gary Neville co commentating is like being forced to listen to that boring bloke at the party when you're the nominated driver, sort it out, please.
Neville is technically very good when it comes to analysis, but naturally boring. Gray was quality, not too fussed about Keys though
Andy Gray once said that he thought the (current) Barcelona team would struggle in the Premier League at Grounds like Stoke's, coping with their areial threat etc, etc. Absolute twaddle It's precisely the Andy Gray philsophy on football that has seen England and all the other home nations make no impact on International Football for the last 30-40 years and fall miles behind their peers, technically.
So you don't think they would? I personally think that the likes of Messi, Sanchez, Villa, Busquets and Pedro would really struggle in the BPL compared to La Liga. Look at Silva, he started the season excellently because he was allowed time on the ball. Now he's getting smashed by the defenders at every possible opportunity and he's hating it. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...chester-City-star-David-Silva--EXCLUSIVE.html Funny how he wasn't 'home sick' when he was destined to be player of the season, eh?
As individuals then maybe, but Andy Gray said the Barcelona team (as a whole) would stuggle and I do not think they would. La Liga is a 38 game season so they are used to a long season. I just think that their passing game would be to much for England's top teams. Just look at what Athletic Bilbao did to Man U in the Europa League and what Barcelona have done to them in 2 Champions League Finals.
iwould love to see barca stoke though. Stoke arent as bad as they used to be, but would be interesting to watch. Barca have never played a team like that. They would destroy stoke though. I think they would win, but as long as their players could take a kicking every game of the season.
