'Udders drew Peterborough drew MK Dons won Bournemouth lost Rochdale lost Leyton Orient lost and most importantly SAINTS WON!! COYR!!
Not a chase any more as we are now the Chased. Must admit though that it sounded as though we rode our luck.
Brighton only one more win from promotion, Exactly 3 points needed for them and it is over, They are doing great.
This time last week I was totally buzzing after witnessing our thrilling comeback! Since last week we have won another two games against difficult opposition! Just need to be focused for Rochdale in mid week, it won't be easy... On paper Rochdale and Brighton are maybe the toughest games we face for the remainder of the season. But football is a funny game so I'll enjoy the moment and come back down to Earth a minute from kick-off on Tuesday night COYR!
Saints being Saints we will do the things the hard way........I think there is likely to be a lot of twists and turns yet be boyo's........Chickens hatching and the counting of comes to mind..........It is nice to look down for a change.....I was getting a crick in my neck keep looking up...........
We are on a roll, both home and away. I'm quietly confident, especially as a draw will do at Rochdale to consolidate our position. COYS
RLGB says on paper the games at Rochdale & Brighton are the hardest. Totally agree with that BUT after today's results we can lose both and still have promotion in our hands! It's getting exciting. Having said that, I'll be at Rochdale on Tuesday and definitely don't want to see us lose!!!
Not wishing to knock B'mth, but I remember at St Mary's when we beat them (the second time...), that their fans were singing "We've got more points than you!"...well to those fans what can I say! In 1 month (yes 4 weeks of football), we have turned a 6 point deficit to an 11 point advantage! We have GAINED 17 points on them.... So excited about the next month, but will only start really believing if we don't lose our next two games. 4 wins and Boro can't catch us, 5 wins from 7 and Hudds can't. I think 4 wins will be enough as I can't see Hudds winning all their remaining games. BUT! you know the Saints, if there is an easy way and a hard way...you know which way it will go!
I have noticed on the majority of our threads how quiet it has become as the Cherries seem to be becalmed. They will lose touch soon if they are not careful with the play-off places let alone us.
Look, I can understand the wish to avoid numerical assessment of the number of chickens which may have escaped their shells at this point in time, but we are now first in the pecking order for second place. Unless we are the victim of some fowl refereeing decisions, leading to a poultry points return from our next couple of games, I can see us ruling the roost.
I think NA has changed the way we should think about Saints. He has changed us from a fragile team to a bulldozer.
Morning All What a glorious day it is to be a Saints fan. Take it everyone is enjoying the view from up here. If you look to the west you can see Bummuff disappearing into the sunset, and if you look to the east, you can see Poopy getting ever nearer. OH HAPPY DAYS Brilliant my man, like your style, as I've said many times, not606 is sooooooooo much better.
You have just hatched another plot......I think that is a cheep remark not eggactly a supporting remark is it. Now just stop bloody countin will ya!!
But I thought that the whole point of not 606 was that it gave us free-range in the topics, without the Mods getting us down?;
