he has been his own worst enemy.

He has spent the past 3 weeks whining about needing to be offered a 3 year contract as 'this situation (uncertainty about the future of him as our manager) will unsettle players'...yet he spent every minute since the the bad run started claiming that the uncertainty of his Tottenham future due to the England situation did not unsettle the players as they did not care less about who would be manager next season.

He accepted all the support the club gave him during his trial, including being at court with him every day and covering for him when he was unable to be at matches and personal support from Levy (he thanked him for this after the trial) yet he has been running to the press about his contract while Levy has been dealing with the death of his mother.

He complains about agents turning players heads (like Modric) then signs up with Rooneys agent.

He has demanded loyalty from the club in terms of a 3 year deal yet showed none to them during the England job search...and if it goes wrong for Hodgson the Arry for england bandwagon will get rolling again.

I think Redknapp has given us some great memories:

A cup final, 2 semi finals, a fantastic CL run, two 4th places, exciting football and some great matches... 4 all with arsenal, 3 all with them, the 3-2 win (all from 2 goals down) the 9-1 v wigan, Inter at home, AC Milan away, 4 nil v liverpool, 5 nil v toon, 3 nil v city etc etc

But his behaviour in the past few months has tarnished his reputation in my opinion...I ain't glad he's gone but I am not sad he's gone either as I think it was inevitable that he was going to leave.

My preference for a replacement would be David Moyes as unfortunately I don't think the more fanciful names are realistic and Martinez is a no no in my view and I'd rather kick myself in the nuts than have AVB, Rafa, Pardew or MON at the lane

AVB intrigues me..and judging from what has been said up and down our board it is quite clear that we are all backing the chairman here for reasons which are spread in the many threads.

yes he did alot for us on the pitch and i dont see anybody being ungrateful for that but..we will be ok and we will be going in the right direction....im actually getting quite sick of people suggesting everything at our great club was down to Harry..Levy has evolved as a chairman...he has a vision and that is quite clear for me to see.

THFC first...everything else next...this is one club Harry was not going to think he was getting bigger than.

But that's Harry all over isn't it? A lot of fireworks and whizz living but fails at the finale. We were well thrashed by Chelsea in the cup and by Arsenal and let's not forget City. Yes,good memories but no substance at the end. I am glad he's gone but it could backfire on me if we don't choose the right successor.
