Don't give them an excuse Lewis. This is the time to look within yourself and remember that everything you achieve is for yourself. No longer do you have to be the smiling racing driver to appease peoples own prejudices and fears. Keep your head down and just drive. Love the way you don't look bothered or interested in interviews because that means your in your own space and it's a good place to be. F1 is a sport with many issues that I never knew existed until you arrived. Also it seems that if people support Lewis then they must have just started watching F1 I find this one of the most ignorant statements to be infesting this forum. Im 36 and have been watching F1 since 8 years old and have seen champions come and go. I was lucky enough to remember the Senna Prost battles and unlike most at the time I was a massive Prost fan. Keep it going Lewis and great race!
Yeah, but the chances of you writing something nice about Hamilton are too slim for it to ever worry about it happening
Hamilton is a talented and aggressive driver that is going through a rough patch in his life, What do you want?...this comment wrapped up in silk and showered in roses... I like Hamilton's style, not his race craft this race, Was this not a "nice comment" then ? Wow allsaintchris, you really like Hamilton... I never knew of this beforehand.
Manny, i think your sense of humour meter is clearly broken. The smiley face at the end showed it was said in jest, much like the comment you made was. Can we not all have a little laugh at each others expense? Yes I like Hamilton he is my favourite driver in F1, but I am certainly not as fanatical as some, but I do not like those who pick out everything he does and turn it against him, yet are happy to turn the other cheek when 'their' driver does something wrong.
I like the subdued Hamilton about as much as I like the previous Hamiltons. This latest incarnation is probably yet another cry for attention or a marketing ploy.
I can recall many fans being a bit cheesed off with the old Dennis/Senna method of turn up, win, collect trophies, leave. I think I can recall Ron saying, "Why should we be happy about it? It's our JOB to win!" Perhaps Hamilton has been studying Senna.
