I love Schteve. I love how much he has changed things since coming to the club :-

    • Backroom staff
    • Playing staff (work in progress)
    • Banning swearing
    • Sending player home for turning up to training late
...and my personal favourite from that article. Out goes the ever elusive 'line' off of the 'over the line' statement to be replaced by....wait for it......a ****ing door, off of the new pile of bollocks phrase that we're (hopefully not) going to hear come the day after SSTWDD (SkySports Transfer Window Deadline Day) 'through the door'

Maybe we can wheel ****ing Lloyd Grossman out alongside that arse puppet David Craig and introduce a new feature on SSTWDD specifically for our club called Through The Doorhole !

"Who would come to a club like this.....over to you David"

Don't worry, he has mentioned the line in 3 interviews so far <laugh> The wolves will want blood before long if he keeps that up! This worries me that he is adding a door having completed the signing of Gini. I hope this is not the end of business. If they have to get over the line and then through a door we are ****ed. We couldn't get them over the line nevermind having to negotiate an actual physical obstruction, handle and potentially, a lock <yikes>

It's like an obstacle course joining Newcastle. Next thing we will be expecting them to "jump through hoops"

It's hardly surprising they get injured soon after joining us. That line has a lot to answer for.

Not to mention the transfer 'window' itself.

So that's lines, doors, hoops and windows to contend with.

The problem us fans have is every single media outlet gives us another name to contend with, personally I still think we're out to sign up Mitrovic before the end of the window, but until that happens & while updates of that slowly go out as it returns to negotiations we are left with the media giving us a name a minute.

I'm at the moment more preoccupied with us getting in some defenders, there has been a disturbing lack of names on that front. A striker is important, but I think for us, defenders are a priority, not strikers.

Where is the cart and horse in all this? Wedged in the door probably.

Apparently players not towing "The Line" will be "Flying" out the window according to SM.
Now that surely does account for the injury fiasco, especially when the window is not ground floor!
