NOT A LOT Come on Saints Its an important July coming up. We need a good pre-season so that we can hit the ground running for 6 August. Think Adkins will be better prepared than Pardew and hopefully we can get a good start to live up to our 5-1 promotion odds. About 6th or 7th best odds for promotion in the championship after 2 seasons in league 1 and before we have brought anyone yet. more fancied than ipswich/blackpool. The season starts in July so lets get the players fit and start winning matches. Anyone going abroad or the other pre-season games. Also have Wigan been confirmed as the premier league club coming to St Marys?
Wigan have a match that day, so I presume they won't be announced. Apparently it could be Liverpewl. And I'm relaxed about this summer, with NA and NC in charge. I'm gonna sit back, play a bit of xbox and prepare for the new season!
So important we start well this year or we'll find ourselves at the wrong end early on. Get as many points on the board ASAP so that we're comfortable going into the final 3rd of the season.
Personnel-wise, we were pretty much there with Pardew, it was the awful pre-season that did for us at the start of the season. I'm sure Nigel will see to that. A fast start to take the pressure off later would be lovely.
