You went on your holidays to Southampton and raided the club of a quarter of its first team. Just laziness on behalf of LFC and you could accuse Southampton of selling faulty goods and gaining money by deception. 50 million for 3 players - there is only one club winning there. I see your club is sniffing around again. Yawn. Clyne for starters. Just because you overpaid for players last season, don't expect to get players on the cheap this year. If you want him, England's right back, pay up or do one. If he signs for you, good luck to him, he is going to need it - you don't have a great recent record of improving players careers. Won't hold any grudges, will bring in as good if not better player for half for price. What happened to the Liverpool of old?
What you drinking / on tonight mate... must be awesome... tell us how to get some ta Sidenote... who's looking forward to Batman vs Superman and Suicide Squad?? Sort of a little but excited by both but they could be let downs
Liverpool's scouting system.. We've got a high tech "black box" full of extensive data from players across the world to find the right individuals to fit into the club's ethos and playing style and system. Liverpool have a season ticket at SMS!...
Clearly not, as no Soton fan ever visits the LFC board or is mentioning last summers transfers and no Soton fan starts threads on the LFC board They bought players from lower teams? (and Scotland)
I think Batman vs Superman will be awesome. With Suicide squad I think the cast will let the film down, I think its quite a weak and underwhelming cast overall.
Looking forward to Batman v Superman The last Superman film was my favourite None of that Superman spins the Earth backwards to save Lois bullshit for me
Given the the ethos, youth system, style of play and recruitment of Southampton one can only assume that Liverpool's constant raids are a sign they mean to emulate the mighty Saints. As last season has taught us, Liverpool and Southampton are on the same level and all that separates us is Liverpool's vast financial resources, which are hardly a threat in the hands of the most financially inept club in the land.
I wish we were more like Southampton they are so great at everything I even like the kit. I watched them a few times last season and the fans are a fine bunch singing away and supporting their team. That tricky forward they have is good quite small but a real box of tricks and as a team they scored some great goals. The manager seems to know what he's doing, he might be young but he's done brilliantly. When they won the Champions League I was pleased and don't feel aggrieved that Suarez left us he left it all on the pitch when he played for us. Good luck to them in the future.
That's a bit unfair, there's a few of us that come over here for sensible discussion, yeah there's some piss taking going both ways but that's what these forums are about is it not?? We're not all like SaintsFan08 who seemed to make an account just to wind you lot up! I can't get my head round if the fact that we seem to be rivals for league position now is more down to our rise or your fall
and he failed i won't be too worried about that JWP.. you've got to get into this season before you wonder if you are all that. you could be the next swansea laudrup was a disaster second season. you got a bloody great run last year. you you just go average this year like your seasons end? Basically you need more up front just like us.. can we swap clyne for balotelli? straight swap... whadda say?
Na I'll pass on that thanks He's probably on higher wages than our total wage bill You know the price for Clyne £15m or look elsewhere! Yeah agree with you on more firepower, but not on the Koeman/Laudrup comparisons - I think Koeman seems much more tactically astute, he could certainly teach Brenda a thing or about building a defence and that's without coming out with **** like "defending is easy" I think league wise for us a lot will depend on how far we go in Europa, if we fail to make group stages, I'm pretty sure we will be challenging you and Spurs again! Promising to be an exciting season though!
Well a blanket 7 man defense. . Sure... hardly original but sure. Your plan as said by Koemans was if we score first we win. That means no plan b and it's tight at the back all the time. Honestly I don't know how you'll be seeded in europa and you might "accidentally" lose in preliminary round but the comp is league 1 standard mostly so both of our problems is going far in it without proper resources. Lfc have list of crap to play in this like bogdan, wisdom toure lovern moreno Allen markovic ibe lallana balotelli but do you? At this point lfc look slightly light at cm for it so henderson might be over used. Our 11 for league will not have to play in group phase hopefully. It sucks as a comp in group as you get more no name clubs from Armenia than proper clubs in Europe where is a good trip
If you honestly believe that then you haven't seen enough of us this season (not a dig, you obviously watch your team). The old saying goes there's more than one way to skin a cat and there's more than one way to win a football match. Examples 1-0 at Old Trafford or 8-0 at home to Sunderland. If you think we're a completely defensive team then I would like to point you towards the stat in my signature and our GD of +21 (17 better than yours). It's true we struggled for goals at points but that's due to Pelle being our only striker and he struggled for form/fitness in his first PL season. As for Europa seedings I believe we will be seeded for 3rd qualifying round but if we win not sure if we will for play-off round which could give us a tough tie like Dortmund etc. I'm not 100% sure on the seedings for it though.
Course it's only a bit of gun. But 8-0 was more sunderland total joke of a day than you being barca of course.
