Don't think much of the bloke as a football pundit - but on this one I think he's right, even though he's coming to it with 'jack' attitude. We are really going to struggle this season to finish in the top half of the table. It could be close, unless there are significant signings over the next six weeks.

As shown by his comment about "the Koumases". Apart from his 2 goals v. Barnsley? exactly what did Koumas do to justify the £15k+ per week he was paid last season? That was certainly money which could have been spent more wisely.

His comments about Jason Koumas as a big player we have lost really sums up his grasp of the situation. Anyone keeping even half an eye on us last season would know that Mr Koumas was just about a total waste of money and the only reason he stayed was because we foolishly agreed a season long loan and we, unlike some clubs didn't send him back and try to avoid paying his wages.
