It was common for more local Chelsea fans to go to Fulham when we were playing away and vice versa, similar to City and United. A lot friends and people I used to work with are Fulham, don't know many QPR fans though. I suppose it's because we have had long running rivalries with Arsenal, West Ham and Spurs. After all you can only hate so many teams
Fulham fans are a very decent type. QPR fans are real whiners. And they love to whine on this forum. They should whine less and go to more games, then they would get 25k gates like Fulham instead of 10k ones.
I like Fulham, Always enjoy watching them and wanting them to do well. Always get on with the fans too, they have a great attitude. I also think Dempsey is a great player
Love the atmos there when we have half of Putney (official away) and the neutral area all Chelsea: upwards of 7k, stamping our feet. Best and only old school Prem ground.
I remember going there a couple of years ago when Fulham played United due to a good mate of mine supporting Fulham. One of the best home atmosphere's I've been to and a quality ground. + Whenever we play there, they're always loud
I've never been to a Fulham vs Chelsea game at the Cottage so I can't say but from my armchair I don't recall Fulham fans being a particularly loud bunch. Been to the Cottage a few times and they don't really get behind the team as other crowds do. I think it's the away fans that make it. The likes of Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea with large and local away followings tend to make the occasion I love the Cottage though, so old fashioned. Proper Football ground
Fulham's a family club and as such everyone's very reserved and most of them will only clap. There's some fans at the opposite end to the away fans that sing about but it's a real struggle to hear anything they sing. I'm shocked that some of you seem to think the atmosphere's good there, away fans might do well but away fans are always noisy.
I don't find Craven Cottage that great for atmosphere but it's better than other grounds like Old Trafford, WHL etc
Fair play. But for most clubs such as Fulham, Chelsea is a bigger game than Spurs is. So home fans raise the intensity for games v us compared to Spurs
