    I love the way journos report this sort of story, with a sort of sense of outraged disbelief, as if they'd all lived blameless past lives.

    The fact is, even if she is involved in a dalliance with the chairman, it's her business acumen that got her into this position or the rest of the board would never have worn it.

    Nobody thought Karren Brady could manage, did they?
