    Yes...when 5 of the 6 midfielders are happy to move into the centre forward area...not when 4-6-0 means packing everyone behind the ball <laugh>

    Yes Syd, but Bruce didn't use the Midfield as an attacking option, he rather they sat back and defend.

    The only thing Del Bosque has copied off Bruce is his physique. On the other hand if Bruce had a del of a tache like big vin then id have given him a couple of more games to turn it around.

    If we had Iniesta, Xavi, da Silva and Alonso in our midfield against Brighton, I'd have been quite a happy fella. They have won 3 major world titles in 4 years which is reamrkable and will never agian be bettered or equalled imo. They could easily make it 4 in a row in 2 years time as well.


    We didnt have that quality and we got beat off a lower league team.


    Vicente del Bosque González is a tactical and motivational genius and Bruce in the manager of Hull City now in the Championship.


    Says it all really.

    On another note, I'm having adaft fiver on Liverpool to be relegated next season, or BR to be the 1st manager sacked.


    Rodgers is way out of his depth and Liverpool are not very good now.

    Bruce was a big fan of the film Zulu, I understand. It was all Ellis and Niall could do to stop him packing the goal with mealie bags and shooting opposing forwards...
