What are you on about. You stole a march on us through over spending with money that you stole from the public pocket. You lot weren't slow in bragging then, so take your oil now that the chickens have come home to roost.

I'm truly sick of the 'everyone benefits but us' line to Rangers European adventures. This is the second season we've heard Walter Smith make such a claim.
When Celtic lost the league back in 2003 and Rangers won the treble, I turned to one of my best friends, a true Rangers supporter - and I told him that I wouldn't have swapped our run to that UEFA Cup Final for his domestic Treble. I've seen Trebles in the past and although they are sweet I got to watch a once-in-a-generation game against Porto in Seville - and I wouldn't have swapped it for anything but the UEFA cup itself.
I truly believed that and today I still believe it. To come out after that game and claim that I as a supporter got no benefit from that run - because Rangers and Scotland as a whole got a boost from our tiredness / coefficient - would have been absolutely ****in nonsense. I loved every minute of it as a fan, it was entirely for my benefit, as is Rangers competing in their current competitions for their own fans.

I'm clutching at nothing. You were the one citing your teams current failings as a reason for us not to gloat. Well your team had an unfair advantage over every other team in the land. Worse than that, you cheated the taxpayer to do it. So you run along with your tail between your legs and take your coefficient with you, as if you were solely responsible for it.
