I have enlarged it and stuck copies of it in every room in the house so that I can see it and chuckle. I have never been in such a good mood as I have these last few weeks. Even the old arthritis doesn't seem to ache anymore. I just hope the top and bottom places are the same come tea time this afternoon. I'm beginning to really believe that there is justice in this world.
Haha i'm exactly the same! tend to stay away from the table if results go against us and we lose though! tell myself the table isn't important yet when it goes against us but when we win i'm like yeh the table's great and can't stop looking!
The table's have turned, quite literally ! I knew this day would come, that natural order would be restored eventually !
Be careful that your obvious enthusiasm, isn't mistaken for some kind of gloating, that sort of attitude can bite you back, it doesn't take much for the tables to turn again, and those WUMs will be on here once more, like a rash you cannot scratch.
Godders, you of all people, should know that tea time is 4 o'clock sharp. After 5, about the time football finishes and the league table is updated, it's high tea.
Same here - it's a beautiful thing to behold. Thing is, the Pompey thing doesn't make a jot of difference to me. I just look at the top half. If we finished third, the fact that Pompey finished bottom would not be even the slightest crumb of comfort. Yes, if we were mid-table, surviving well and with no real chance of play-offs, the Pompey thing would be a bigger consideration. I just am all about Saints, and the two or three teams around us. Out of interest, if Pompey could do us a few favours and pick up a few wins against our promotion rivals, but it meant they would - as a result of their wins - stay up, would anyone begrudge them that?
Table is still looking good...if we carry on winning, West Ham and Reading cannot get passed us even with games in hand unless they get a cricket score.
Our game against Reading is looking more and more crucial. If, and it is a huge IF, we beat them, it could decide everything.
If we stay above them, a draw will suit us but not them. We want just Reading or WHU to burn out, don't need both of them to do so. Just want to get auto with a couple of games in hand...that GD could make the difference as it did last season.
I reckon West Ham-Reading game is crucial for us too, and thankfully it's before ours. Come on you... er, not sure.
To be honest like Nigel keeps saying let's concentrate on our own games. WH Vs Reading wont affect how we play. Let's just winn our games and we can't be overtaken. COYR
The table looks even better knowing we stayed near the top even with our terrible two months. Hopefully we are over that bit and we can keep every one healthy for the run in.
