When Wilshere returns from injury Arsene play him in his best position as a attacking midfielder and not as a holding midfielder when me and my kids(well babies) use to watch the youth team and the reserve team in Barnet he use to play so wonderful and skill-full as a little lad (not that he don't he still is) it just that he got so much talent and am fed up of watching are good players not play in there rightful positions and people think are players are rubbish:emoticon-0103-cool:

He'll eventually move into that position, but other players have to be accommodated as well, we had Fabregas playing that position in Wilshere's break out season.

I think Wenger ultimately wants an all-round inter-changing midfield with Wilshere, Arteta and Song. All of them played as holding midfielders as well as attacking/playmaker type. At its best it could be awesome, but it may so easily go terribly wrong.

Wilshere isn't an attacking midfielder, he is an all round player who can both defend and attack well, the only reason he looked more defensive was because fabregas was playing almost as a second striker meaning that wilshere had to sit in beside song however he was the more attacking player. Wilshere has many traits to his game one of which is his tackling, seriously do you think that if wenger thought wilshere's best position was as an attacking midfielder he would do the opposite and play him as a holding player?

Wilshere wasn't playing as a holding midfielder, no one was, him and Song were playing as box to box players, similar to how the central midfielder's work in a 442. But as always, there is one that puts more emphasis on defence, and one that puts more emphasis on attack.

Wherever we have him in midfield, he will make an impact and he will make us stronger. So we just need him back on the pitch first, then we can worry about the other things.
