i think he deserves at least one more year with us, this season he was injured nearly whole season, it would be great of we get another year off him, his experience is great. he never moans even if he spends most of the time on the bench, he's a true professional and if we need a goal we can send Owen on and if he gets a chance he is more likely to score.

I think since he joined us, his linking up play has improved, he doesn't always spend most of the time upfront waiting for a chance, he nowadays drops back to help as well, he can still do a good job for us even if he gets a pit-part play next season.

He had 60 minutes run out today, his first game after that injury, he done well, looked sharp on his return, linked up with other's well and we can still see he still got it, unlucky he didn't get a chance on goal today though. he didn't look rusty today, i was expecting him to be abit rusty since its his first game in months but he done good.

He deserves to have at least one more year with us, i hope he gets contract extension, it would be disappointing if he leaves. if he had stayed fit this season maybe he could of been a contender for England Euro's.

my best moment with him was that city game winner. He will never be forgotten here for that winner.

we are bound to lose Berbatov but we can't lose two striker's, we have to keep Owen, i hope we do, he can still play a part.

Will Keane might get a promotion to first team but we need Owen around as mentor to these kids.

i think Keane will get loaned out so that he can get more games under his belt and if im not wrong, Sir Alex did say he is going to loan him next season to let him have some games, so i think Keane will come back to us the season after season and get promoted to first team but yeah Owen can be a great mentor to kids and he can inspire kids too.

I like Owen, he's what I'd call a model professional, but I just feel his position on the bench would be better filled by a young player to give them experience.

Ive never been a fan of having reserves in there 30s, if there not good enough at 30 to start then they should be shipped out, and there position should be taken by a younger player, who could eventually break into the first team

Don't think its right to keep him; for me he deserves one last crack at playing regularly while hes still got 2 or 3 years in him. Someone like sunderland should snap him up' theyll be a decent force under o'neill and they need 2 new first choice strikers

Love him but there's other new players we could do with that would earn their coin by playing and winning points, Valencia should have the number 7 if he goes <ok>

Owen is a waste. He cannot stay fit. It's not rocket science.

I would rather Doris the tea lady sign for another year, not only is she injury free, she is far more effective

Is there anything about United your positive about? Personally i think Owen is still a good player when fit and is happy to sit on the bench so it doesn't hurt to keep him around as backup.

I don't see what he brings to the table at all, apart from a free pay check and ocassionaly taking a place up on the bench. I wish he had stayed fit i think he would have been a lot more beneficial but he hasn't time to let him go.
