Are going to have a hell of a night on Saturday, with all the Saints fans having issues with their hearts (Heart in mouth, Heart dropping etc) They need to be prepared for the sudden demand around 3:00ish

Hope they can cope <ok> I personally am quite nervous Saturday, I know it's in our hands but I just can't help it

Sing your hearts out fir the lads, then all the NHS will have to worry about is a few sore throats.

Thinking about it, is it possible to be nervous whilst singing loudly? I don't think it's possible. Is this why it is always more nerve racking watching on the box than at the match?

Nearly thought I wouldn't go because of my nerves, but I am better at the game surrounded by others. Waiting at home for the clock to tick round is the worst option. I'm sure we will be singing following a victory, but I'm hoping Saints fans are big enough to applaud this great side after a memorable season even if we don't. We have to remember that in the unlikely event of failure, the team will need lifting for the play offs. Our confidence is important for the team. Remember we pride ourselves on being the twelve man...you can't bask in that only if we win.

Not wanting to appear morbid, it wouldn't surprise me if one or two Saints fans wake up in a hospital on Sunday, because of heart failure. It has happened before, to sports supporters, and some haven't woken up. In my opinion, the best cure for nerves is actually being there in the stadium, shouting and screaming your support. Having to either be at home or at work, I often find it all too much for me. Listening to the radio is terrible for the nerves, at times, as is watching it on TV, although not half as much. On the other hand, they can be extremely exciting too.

Frankly, if you're of a nervous disposition and your health isn't the best, my advice would be that if you can't be there then do as The Likely Lads did. Find out the result later in the cold light of reason. You can then enjoy it if Saints win and not bother if Saints lose. Not very supportive..? You're at home or at work; I don't think too many are going to miss you. And you can be confident of being around later. ;)

When we get promoted they'll need to be ready to treat liver damage too! Or perhaps stomach pumping will be the order of the day?!
