    darren bent is from the south mate,so you can sort of understand him wanting to go closer to home...where was carroll from again??? did he go closer to home when he joined liverpool? hmmmmmmmm?!!! he was from the toon as even he couldnt stand living in the same city as you lot of ******ed pigeon racing wombats any longer!

    He was from Gateshead, that's a different town to the city of Newcastle <doh>, just as Washington, Durham and Northumberland are different cities/areas to Sunderland & Newcastle.
    That's your Georgaphy for morons done for today; your next lesson will be English - why not start with punctuation and grammar <ok>.

    Don't know about Sunderland I've never been to the dark side.
