white stip with the red stripe and feel I will miss it when we revert to red and white stripes again.

Does anyone else feel the same way?

I love the stripe. :emoticon-0115-inlovIt's classy and makes us look like a European side. However, NC has said it's back to stripes, so stripes it must be. Shame though.<wah>

I like it. But you realise we are the only team that do, Everyone i know who see's out kit hates it, always telling me about how we should go back to classic red and white as thats how we are known. Personally my favourite kit was the Yellow away kit

Do we really care what other teams think of our kits? Perhaps we look more threatening...not a bad thing.

I prefer the stripes. Watching the lads in the kit this year it didn't look like Southampton playing.

My thoughts exactly Fran. I would keep the sash for that reason alone!

After a few games back in the stripes, we won't give the sash a second thought.

I have enjoyed the sash, however I miss the stripes and for me Saints have always been stripes and they should stay that way. Thats what made it special having this sash as a one off...... I liked how it looked less like a football shirt with no sponsor......yet next season has to be stripes with the our new sponsor aap3

I am not sure myself. I have loved the strip once I had gotten used to it. I wouldn't mind keeping it.

cant wait to have the stripes back! wonder if we'll have a block colour panel on the back so you can read the name and number easily?

The sash was ok as a one-off but I've never liked it and I'm glad it's going.

And to those who suggest we keep it consider this; the stripes have been part of our team's history for over a hundred years (with rare exceptions). Do you think you are justified in changing that on a whim of "I think it looks nice"? As current supporters of our club you should have more respect for our past and a sense of duty by preserving our future.<ok>

going back to stripes will make the sash kit even more precious in the future when we look back and remember it.

in 5 years time, lying on the sand like a beached whale in my saints sash shirt, the euros will be trying to work out who the team is!!

is that a bad thing after watching Saints between 04 and 09? Love the sash myself. The stadium looks great on a warm day when its full and almost everyone is wearing one.

I've got it, I have the answer. I can keep everyone happy.
