We will sign a replacement striker. What does everyone else think?

 

I think Ivan is about to build a shiny new conservatory. Giroud was signed as the replacement.

Think Giroud was replacement as Kyle has said. But that does not stop us from getting another forward and hoping that all three can replace Van Pussy's goals.

Thought I read a statement from Wenger Saying that all replacements for Van Persie have been signed (i.e. Giroud)
Having said that, it seems that Mirallas will be signed as a replacement for Bendtner/Vela (so about another 10 million profit there)
So we should have a strike force of Giroud/Podolski/Mirallas/Chamakh/Park/Gervinho, which is an improvement on last seasons RVP/Chamakh.
Having said that, selling to Manure leaves a bitter taste in the mouth, and for a few moments as I digested the news I have to admit hoping that
RVP might get an injury in the international friendly as is his tradition (disgusting, I know)

Giroud is definitely the replacement. There's nobody else available.

 

We were strongly rumoured to sign another 2 players before van Persie's departure. Now that he's gone, you could probably make that 3, and if Song leaves, make it 4.

I think another AM would be okay, but a striker isn't a priority.

We already have more "options" for that position, even if they are weaker options than what we had. But we have more variety. Any new striker won't do much to improve the situation there.

 

Cavani would be an amazing signing, but can't see it happening.

Loorente rumours are false he has NOT signed. However i would personally like mirallas.

 

I don't see where the link to Llorente has come from, we have Giroud, both are extremely similar.

 

According to SJW, it was Jamie Sanderson who broke the story, and he's not fake.
