Billericay Town is the new home for Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and it seems to be the case for so many that thought they could make it (so to speak) and ended up playing football at a much lower level than expected. His time at City was quite fruitful, and his partnership with Sam Baldock produced many goals, so the question is what happened to these players to make them fall like rocks off a cliff? It's quite sad to see these types of players slip from the perch and the reasons have never been reported although I would suspect that attitude might be a leading cause and it's time to start to believe that you will never be bigger than the club that employs you - so are you listening Raheem? On a slight side note I read that the above mentioned player (Sterling) feels that he won't get the new contract he wants because he played so badly at the World Cup, and there was me forgetting he's also a rocket scientist - DUH!
What a comedown complete waste of talent there. JET could have made it to the very top with the right attitude.
