their fans were were saying" they thought it was over" and also they were holding boards saying that too but the thing is no one, not even the united fans said it was over even when we were eight points behind,i never saw one united fan saying that, not even a player said that. we never thought it was over, it was only the press who thought it was over not us. Also people say Mancini beat Sir Alex in mind games this season but how? Sir Alex always has been saying and denying Mancini by saying the title race is not over and there's still a long way to go. Seriously though, the level of hypocrisy of some United fans, and indeed fans in general, is incredible.
All of us at times, especially in the heat of the moment. Ive been discussing with Liverpool fans how Fergie sees it as a game and thats all it is, many take what he says as gospel but they shouldnt. We are talking about the very highest level of sport and business. You dont give away anything and you always make your rivals/competition work hard to figure you out on and off the pitch. The fact some think Fergie and other managers are genuine in what they say tickles me.

it's because of us its not over, Cheaply dropped points against Wigan and more embarrassingly dropped 2 points against Everton in the last 8 minutes in a MUST win game but we were soo careless and dropped it, i wonder if United players really cared for the title in that game, how on earth did they do that? we only got ourselves to blame for it, it was a suicide, it was a disgraceful play by us, in our history and a club like Man Utd, we can't let 8 points slip in the last few games.. the way we lost it, its a disgrace for our club
Everton maybe, Wigan beat us fair and square, they were better and deserved to win. Against Everton we just seemed like we thought job done in the 80th minute instead of the 90th. Very strange for us. I have no doubt Fergie blasted them for it and I would think he demands the players show the fans how sorry they are. I know we played City away but in terms of the lucky ones who are at OT they still need that apology, for the last home game they sat through, they paid to watch United for 90 minutes.
yep Wigan did beat us fair and square, that match we didn't even looked like we cared, looked like our players just woke up and played that game. yep thats true, we must of forgot the time and thought it was 90 when it was 80, when we were 4-2 up we had the trophy in our hands but we flopped it... against city that game was Sir Alex's fault, he got selection, formation everything wrong. Oh well, its gone now, we have to look for next season now, try to rebuild our team, we need more central player's.

So yeah, everyone thought it was all but over with 6 games left and an 8 point lead, you'd have gotten sh!t odds on United not winning it at that stage, MAncini was saying te right thing when he said it was over but what Mancini said had f all to do with United dropping points, what those comments do is affect your own team, if the season was already over then the player have no need ot feel pressure and they go and win 4 from 4 at the business end of the season, it is almost a challenge to his own players, one they can take up and not worry if they fail And it is funny also that the amount of you now saying it is over when you're level on points but it was not over when you were 8 ahead.?
