Honesty, integrity and just says it how it is. Plays attractive football and, when we play this system, even when we lose we never lack effort. I believe.
his interview with stringer is an absolute classic. Stringer is literally trying to crush him and he just replies like an absolute boss.
I'm with you here Ed. Pearson all the way for me, and he's right about the team putting the effort in yesterday, and booing being unjust. You can't question the commitment but the quality just isn't there. James, Cambiasso, Mahrez, and Schlupp seemed determined to run all over the shop yesterday, and were let down by dodgy defending.
Have to agree with you. It's difficult at the moment because nothing is going our way and we're being let down by mistake after mistake (from Morgan and Schmeichel who seem to be different men from 6 months ago) but I firmly believe that Nigel Pearson is the man for Leicester City and would be really quite upset to see him go.
Can't find you a link to it but Stringer asked really pathetic questions designed to put Nigel under more pressure than he is. He asked little about the game itself and more about things like 'are you under pressure', which obviously didn't go down to well.
Loved it when Stringer asked Pearson what his relationship is like with the owners. "It's nothing to do with you" was the reply. Brilliant
IS: "I know you understand that it is my job to ask these questions Nige" NP: "No, that is not your job Ian. That is non of your business and you have no right to know and i will not be sharing that with you". Or something like that anyway. Absolute classic.
You can hear the interview here by clicking on the right hand link... 'Foxes Post Match Podcast: Leicester v Liverpool 02-12-14' And to reiterate some of the above posts he handles it superbly. All the best Foxes. http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/lcff
Nothing gets my back up more than that infantile muppet Stringer, quite frankly, I think he is the worst summariser/commentator that BBC Radio Leicester have had since as long as I have been listening to it (30+ years). And we, the licence payer, pay his wages!! Bring back good old Neville Foulger!
Interesting article from Robbie Savage here http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30311666 An interesting comment about going to see the Chairman before they sacked Peter Taylor, apparantly some of the senior players spoke to the then chairman and asked him not to sack Taylor, because the team liked him........
