I dont understand the goalkeeper movements at all!!

    So Rob Elliott is having a medical.

    We already have Krul, Soderberg and Harper in the club. Obviously there are rumours Harper is part of the old gaurd/players committee the club wanted to disband, but if there was any chance of him actually leaving, why let Forster out on loan?

    I just dont understand why we need another GK?

    Thoughts?

    Apparently Soderberg is going to be loaned out and Harper's currently injured.

    I'm not best pleased but given the fee that's been talked about is only six figures, I also don't think it really matters.

    If Soderberg 'wants' to go on loan, then perhaps yes. If we are loaning him for the sake of it no. But yeah, OK, kinda makes sense I suppose. But then Bolek too? I'm back to square one!

    I keep thinking this Green move is to get Charlton's complaint to the FA rescinded.

    We pay more, get the player and Charlton are sated.

    Bolek supposedly preferred the move to Leyton Orient, so maybe we have backed out of the deal now.

    Soderberg said a while ago he wanted to go on loan as he'll never get a game ahead of Krul. I doubt we'll sign Bolek and Elliot.

    well generally if a player shoots at goal, the goalkeeper will move towards the ball in an effort to block it

    Harper will retire sooner rather than later.. forster will be sold to celtic either january or next summer... maybe we are learning from mistakes by replacing before they actually leave?

    i think it is a good idea

    harper is injury prone and not too god anyway

    forster needs 1st team games, thus his loan move

    soderberg - same as forster, nees to get out on loan to improve!!

    bring in a decent older keeper, happy to be cover and allow young potential to go out and get football to help them improve!!

    pretty logical really, for all the romantisists wanting to see all our youth team in the starting 11, dont forget, you can only have 1 keeper.

    The whole thing is a shambles.

    GK is the only position we are totally covered and solid for the next 10 to 15 years................we ll it was until we get rid of Forster for no reason and show no faith in Soderberg what so ever.

    Makes me angry at how incompetent the club is.

    Why would Forster want to stay if Krul is number one? Harper is injured every other week so getting some cover in wouldnt hurt.
