But, being as though they are pushing the skates a bit closer to the drop, I'm starting to warm to them.
So in the cold light of day after today's fixtures... Saints are in a better position than we were before kick off. Pompey are in a worse position than they were before kick off.
Lol,and them dumb Skates think they are going to stay up. Just a shame Coventry let a lead slip today.
Well with that win, hopefully City push on. Could really do with Coventry being down or safe come the last day of the season. After today, down now appears the most likely to potentially happen. For similar reasons, it's good to see Boro losing today. A couple more defeats for them please, before we go up there.
If other results hadn't gone against us pretty much every week since we went into admin until today, we'd probably be out the relegation zone.
I'll take nothing away from their performance, boy do they step up to the plate on derby day, but with special loan circumstance players coming in & actually being better than the dross they shipped out, it does make me wonder why teams in financial plight play the youth players & not use the pompey 'beg plan' to get some good players in. Sod the long term, hey, is that actually their saying now? It should be on the crest after this season!
That's definately not the attitude of Cortese... he plans for the future. We will continue to make progress in a sustainable manner.
We loaned players out and all brought in are being payed by the parent club. And you need a short term to even have the possibility of a long term.
The secret is to get points on the board like us, because there have been periods we should have fallen off the top and didn't. It's like saving for a rainy day. Also best if you avoid administration..we learnt that lesson. Hope it helps.
Not much. You do have the best keeper in the league, and he used to be a skate, but I forgive him and you.
5 million where did you get that from?? He's on 15k a week for 1 and a half years so far? do your maths rather than just make up things
