    Of course I will miss some of our squad, but I have complete faith in the club to do the right thing.
    I support the club whatever way that we conduct the transfer window.
    Who else has complete faith in the senior management of the club?

    Only if it's Barmby's decision. He needs to be satisfied that any deal is progressive.
    TBH I never trust businessmen and even the likes of AP and the Allams will be more interested in the folding stuff than improving our chances of promotion.

    fair points and this is still NP's team. Barmby can get them playing with a different focus and more positivity but every new manager wants to make tweaks to the squad in their first window.

    For all our "we'd never sell XXXXX" bleating, only Barmby knows what structure, quality and characters he wants taking to the pitch in the black and amber. He's also been in the game long enough to know good business for the progression of hull city when he sees it.

    Personally I don't want to see any of Chester, Stewart, Koren etc leave but if they do then in Barmby I will trust.

    If we do sell any of the current first team I think Barmby will be turning the job down full time.
    Its hard enough starting as a manager with a decent squad, but to start fresh halfway through a season trying to re-build?? As a new manager that would put a hell of a lot of pressure on him, the signs he's been giving out are that he's waiting to see what happens in this transfer window then he'll decide if he wants to take the job.

    Not sure i completely understand you Mel. I too will support my club whatever, and also have faith in senior management. But i wouldn't go so far as to say i don't care who we sell. This squad is very close to what we need to reach the premier league. Imo if we can bring in a goal scorer, then we will be promoted this season. So yes,i would be gutted if we sold the likes of Stewart or Chez.

    What price do you get for a decent young winger?

    Answer = NOT ENOUGH

    How on earth could we replace Stewrt in the space of 30 days? Its took us a good few years to find a decent winger.

    I am with you on this one, however NB will also know that if a silly offer came in for any player then there is always a price you would have to sell at. However I also think it is vital that the Man U boys, who obviously get on well together, stay together. If they were split up, then chances are other would be attracted to leave.

    In previous windows, I could not say that I trusted the whole management team, to do the right deals, for the right reasons. That feeling has gone. Replaced by the belief this time any player that is sold, will be going for the right reason.
    As a club we have had some terrible January's.
    I'm simply asking if others share my trust, that for once in a long time we will not be stitched up.
    I was told today that we have two strikers on the cards to come in. That should mean at least one or two out.

    What ever happens I believe we WILL end up with a stronger squad with money being re.invested in a striker , and a replacement for anyone who happens to leave .. So like mel I'm not worried either . Come on u ULL .
