I have not looked at the bottom of the L2 table for some weeks, and the last time I did, Wycombe looked pretty safe. Indeed I remember passing comment on the possibility of a play off place some months ago. Today I look and cannot believe my eyes! What on Earth has gone so horribly wrong that you now find yourselves face to face with non-league football again?
Everything has gone wrong Thai. All the teams below us kept winning when they shouldn't have and we didn't when we should have. How we beat Chesterfield I'll never know. We might end up where we were when I was a kid (Isthmian League). At least we were successful then.
Really quite sad to see you where you are, but thanks to you lot on here, no matter where Wycombe are in the grand scheme of things, I will keep an eye on them. I hope you can somehow stay up, and there is half a chance with the final game at Torquay. Keep the faith guys and hope for better times sometime soon
