So who are playing in the Olympic Final then ?..........Brazil v Mexico.........(13th v 18th) ??? So should football be even played in the Olympics........and is it important ?........ok I realize that the Olympics is mostly for younger players. Does my memory serve me correct (without looking it up).........Didn't Nigeria win the Olympic football, back in the 1990s.
Whilst the ranking is a complete joke plym the Olympics have nothing to do with this list at all. The format and age restrictions on players used is completely different to normal national sides where no restrictions apply. Do you think they missed a one off the number though?
Not only that, it is Great Britain which is playing in the Olympics whereas the FIFA ranking is for England. If Brazil & France were put in a more realistic position, then 13th would indeed look more sensible than 3rd..... But then, everyone knows this thing is a complete nonsense.
