Everybody is pointing the finger at everyone else, but everyone is doing it... my own personal pride wouldn't have allowed me to do that when I played.. they have no shame from managers down to the players. It needs to stop, no more excuses.
Give players meaningful bans, i.e 5 Champions League games etc, the games that really matter for players to be seen in. Missing games away at Espanol in mid week is no punishment in comparision.
Warnock wins Manager of the month along with Clarke and Matt Taylor (player of the month) .in L2 Still we cant win it all of the time !!
I don't personally care about Warnock or "gasheads" , there are more important things to care about like City against Sheff Wed, on match day let's stick to our own shall we or I will be doing some deletions, tough world isn't it..
That perhaps is the main difference between certain individuals on this forum and myself. I am a football supporter who would like Bristol City to win. I enjoy watching good football from either side and would sooner watch a good exciting 3-3 draw than a drab 1-0 win. Others cannot see beyond a City win and any adverse comment is simply met with abuse. People would not allow that in the workplace or at home so why is it different in football? I enjoy characters in Football they make it more entertaining, but that does not mean I agree with them as its all water off a ducks back. Forums should be abut an exchange of differing views and not subject to control as it relates to content (unless it is offensive). If I disagree with anyone I will say so but it never contains expletives or personal insults. People should learn to be more tolerant. Times have changed.
You seem obsessed that I am one of your previous "arch enemies". I am not. I am however one of many people who see you as an anachronism. You are from an era of blind BCFC support who probably relished in a good punch up in Greville Smythe park whereas I would prefer a chat in the bar with an opposing supporter discussing the match. Football is a part of my life not all consuming. You are totally intolerant of any view that does not coincide with yours and then defend any proffered insults as banter. Sadly it appears you have the backing of some moderators and that is why many moderate people tend not to say anything. There are many things which help create a loyalty to Bristol City and that includes this forum. It is supposed to be something which encompasses all views but the way that you treat people does the image of BCFC no good at all. Still as someone of a rival board said "Bankys could start an argument in a paper bag". Please do not respond to my postings and I will do likewise.
I'll give you a bit of advice, any provocation on here will be deleted, we are aware of membership and watch very carefully what's going on, our supermods have been notified of members and old habits, if any rules are broken they have the power to ban, if any day to day **** goes on, we the mods can and will delete it. My advice and I know you have ignored it before, you reported me and complained about my decisions, you respect our forum, talk about our team, consider our fellow members or **** off, it's your choice..
Well as you so succinctly put it I choose to **** off. Of all the moderators you seem the most reasonable but you are dominated by the likes of Banksy and Shiny who to me represent the old guard and are quite frankly a disgrace to the name of BCFC. While I am sure JGF will deny it I would just like to refer you to my statistics in that I have posted 376 items and attracted 42 likes that a rate of 1 in 9 (I even got three from Banksy) . That's far superior to any of your team as you call them. This indicates I would suggest that that on average members of the forum are far more akin to my views than some of your colleagues. I don't expect that you will consider this as relevant as I get the message clear and loud i.e. its your way or not at all. I have incidentally never shown any disrespect or ridiculed any person on this forum and if you can demonstrate that I have I will gladly donate money to your nominated charity. Compare this with your team's "**** off Andy". Some of your colleagues are quite simply bullies. I do not choose to ignore your advice I choose to distance myself from something I find totally distasteful, it simply is not worth the hassle. A sad day as I really enjoy the cut and thrust of debate, The bottom line Wizered you will not be able to find one instance of me showing anyone any disrespect but you will find clear evidence that Banksy is considered one of your team as you call them. You also should note that SMHBCFC recently broke ranks and slowly but surely other people will realise that the present regime is not reflective of what most people want i.e. references to Banksy as the "forum police" . So sad i did not think we had gone down the otib route,forums should be for all to debate. Banksy does wind up other members including me,but i return banter with banter all good fun i have good banter with many on here,but never would i wish to get personal with insults such a shame.
I have asked you to respect our forum, talk about our team, consider our fellow members or **** off and make it your choice, I did not ask you to leave but to comply with our general aims, I'm not worried about your stats breakdown, I don't seek popularity, I don't wish to prolong our debate hence my abrupt terminology, I treat all people with the same regard so comparisons with others doesn't work and if there is a concealed threat in the fact that you wish me and mine all the best for the future as you sit quite close to us, come and introduce yourself. You are not banned, the general debate is still there to be held, just contribute to a steady ship instead of rocking the boat all of the time, incidentally I have never, ever knowingly met shiny, banksy or any other individual on this board, the only team we belong to is fans of Bristol City FC.
Wiz I consider this slanderous and would like to officially complain to the super mods, this sad man is clearly Lared who was supposed to have been banned for consistently ignoring warnings and forum rules. He wasn't missed when he was gone and is once again disrupting this forum with his poison, he doesn't know me, has been here for no time at all and thinks he can dictate the rules of this forum despite the fact he has clearly had his card marked previously. I don't know how he got back on but we both know who this is!
Banksy of course you are at liberty to contact the supermods anytime you wish, I have gone as far as I can at the present and the guy has indicated he won't be back...
