I would like to apoligise i have done something i swore i would never do. I couldn't resist the odds and i have bet on saints to win on saturday as part of an accumalator. Sky bet have odds of 9-1 on Saints, Charlton and Swindon all winning on saturday. They are all away but to midtable or below sides so i thought long and hard about it but in the end it was to good an offer to turn down. So if saints fail to beat Millwall then i will accept the torrent of abuse that i will fully deserve.
I never bet on saints to win in accumulators its a curse. If I go to the game or they are on tv I will back them in a correct score. I won't be happy with you now if they lose.
Good...you have deflected all the blame off me for stating categorically that we would get promoted on another thread.
Ive not seen this fran that was very brave of you, however by bringing it back up the blame is back on your doorstep should we fail.
I haven't bet on the Saints all season but wish I had taken the good odds on offer for automatic promotion at start of season
Nothing at all been very quiet really, In the gold cup i'm thinking burton port has an outside chance but i'm prob just gonna put a fiver e/w on Carruthers but thats only cause i've one a bit of money on him in the past.
The guy who sits next to me said at the start of the season he'd bet on Lambert being top goalscorer. £10 at 12-1.
Good bet there Kate, i might have to take that bet next year in the prem he's gotta be worth at least 50-1
Love gambling chat. I've lost a fortune this week at Cheltenham but I placed over £100 on Saints to win the league at start of the season at odds ranging from 18s to 14s. I also placed £54 on Lambert top scorer, and £27 on Pompey to be relegated - all pre season bets with good odds. I think I stand to win over £4k if all goes well. Its safe to say I'm cacking myself that little bit more than normal every Saints game. I've also just placed £60 on your suggested treble. Saints have been good to me this year on the betting front....so far!
