All last season everyone came on here moaning about boring negative football, and how they 'd rather we lost having a go.

Well last night the lads had a go.

1st 20 minutes was some of the best football I've seen at the KC, and apart from 25 minutes (end of the 1st half start if the 2nd) we totally dominated.

Fryatt should have had a hat trick, cairney hit the post, simpson should have done better when through on goal ang both barmby and koren were unlucky when sliding in to convert good crosses.

FFS on any other night we could have scored 5.

I say keep playing like that and we'll win s lot more than we lose.

Now just calm down and get a grip!

You forgot the two open goals Barmby missed.

I all honesty we should have has 5 goals that second half.

    2 Barmby misses, 2 Fryatt one-on-ones, 1 Simson one-on-one.

This young team is beter than the muppets who where on big cash and started last season. Sickener to lose first game but they need time. Did Fryatt look a yard short?

Fryatt just looked short on confidence.
"Just 1 more touch to get set....."
    3 unnecessary touches later.....

Yeah but why shy on confidence. first game of the season for a constant scorer should be the day when no pressure has built up.
Just found it odd for a quality striker to delay his shot on 2 occasions.

confidence or no confidence Simpson should have buried that last chance, it really was cow's arse/banjo territory - anyway that's not the reason for the post......you will all recall our first match last year- we turned over Swansea & they went up so no long faces just yet please.......

Again agree with this thread, I came on here last night and it seemed like the board had been taken over by the numpties who phone up Blunderside complaining about everything. Get behind the team and lads and shut up. I like Percy but he seems to encourage all this negative stuff which doesn't help at all.
