For the game tomorrow! So excited! Lets have some loud support and drive the team on to victory. We can do this!
With the flood of recent accusations about various posters being on medication recently, it is clear that there is one person on uppers and these should be handed out at the turnstiles tomorrow
Me too. Hoping for a great atmosphere to roar the boys on to victory and if we can do it I am sure that it will spread some cheer on this board which has been a bit downbeat and somewhat techy in recent weeks
I am excited for the match tomorrow! Unfortunately I play on a saturday afternoon so i only get into the pub after the game with about 30 mins to go and since before Christmas its safe to say there hasnt been much to shout about especially being surrounded by Utd, City, Chelsea and Spurs fans!!
Blind optimism won't win us the game unfortunately, neither will loud singing and cheering. It has to be done on the pitch and unless you (Beef) can do the pre-match team talk, change the tactics to gets us a few goals, then I fear it will be another defensive bore. The team including the manager have to give us something to get behind them for. We the supporters have been there for the team all season, they owe us something now!
Well, I have to say Beefy's boundless enthusiasm and optimism cheers me up no end, especially after reading through some of the other threads. How soon the euphoria over RVW has died down.
It's not blind optimism, I know this team and manager can play well and win. We all know this because we've seen it. We didn't just fluke win against man united. The crowd can play a part as well have absolutely no doubt. We can drive them on and score. I saw it against Everton and I've seen it before. We are due a performance to shut the boo boys up. I believe it is coming.
I'm with Beefy on this. Can't wait to get to Carrow Road after two away games, one of which we would have won if Sunderland hadn't had 13 against our 10 men. How quickly some posters seem to have forgotten that almighty effort from our team. I sometimes wonder how some can call Talkshite's Durham all the names under the sun for daring to call our team poor, and yet feel it's perfectly okay to do the same on a thread which is trying to get some positivity behind the team for a crucial game.
i'm with you Beefy, this board has been far too Pink'unesque lately. the old saying is a good one-if you have nothing good to say, say nothing.
The one thing I'm concerned about is Swansea fans and players bringing a plague to our fine city: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-22036576
I agree people can raise concerns, suggest solutions, but there are those that almost want defeat to justify their positions. When Saturday comes, full on support, there can be no excuse. To wallow in self pity is a small club mentality. Put the worries to one side and believe in the team that has produced this year.
Games against Swansea tend to be relatively high scoring with us tending to win at home. How about a 5-4 cracker with a brace from Holt and a Bradley Johnson screamer to win it?
i'll be there, it's my oldest's first NCFC game , supporting the boys i need to teach him the words to OTBC on the way up. anyone know if you are allowed to sing in the aviva community stand ?
Will be an interesting game, I actually have a good feeling about it. If we can get a win I think the relief will add a lot of confidence.
That. That would be wonderful. My housemates thought I was mental when the winner against Everton went in, I think they'd be getting a straitjacket if we managed that.
