Speaking with a Mag mate last night, he asked if I was sticking a tenner on Newcastle to get relegated.

I said no, there are far worse teams in the prem than them. He then went on to say well if we get beaten off Arsenal then you do us at your place it might get rid of the puppet that is Pardew!

I said and then what? Get another puppet replacement? He didn't have an answer. Pardew imo is doing the best job he can under very difficult circumstances but I'm sure he knew what he was taking on when he accepted the role and will battle on regardless. Can't see him walking like!

Totally agree. I think we both have a terrible 2 fixtures. Win both lose both or draw both for either side, I still don't think we will have any idea where we both stand in terms of how we will fair this season. It's effectively only 1 game, our first games respectively as the derby is like a 1 off. We won't have any form going in to it and even if we did, it counts for nothing in the derby anyway.

That useless money grabbing twit will not rip up his lucrative contract... There's more chance of fat boy Ashley winning geordie of the year than Parpoo walking away (Charlton fan)...!!

No way he will walk, walk to where exactly? He was deemed not good enough for league 1 Southampton, look at them fly since he's left. Like above, ask a Charlton fan about his credentials. He and Ashley are a perfect fit.

put it this way i think your right

Maybe he will get the push, if things don't go to well.

The old saying "never **** on your own doorstep" doesn't seem to apply to MA, he'll **** on everyone and everything.

Love the pictute mate...They say a picture can paint a thousand words, and I would say this picture lives up to that..<laugh>

That is paraphrasing at it's absolute, most piss poor journalistic worst.

How can Pardew admit his job is a nightmare when he doesn't even say the word "nightmare"?

What he's saying makes complete sense to me. You have good players, then bigger clubs will get them if you can't match them financially. I would imagine that to be tough for any manager, not just Alan Pardew. We simply can't compete with that. I don't think even SAF would do well with a miniscule budget with rich clubs sniffing around and unsettling his team all the time. If a club, that isn't backed by super rich nutcases who throw money around like there's no tomorrow, can win the league then I'll show my arse in Fenwick's window. But not only that, I'll do it for the entirety of the following season.

Didn't Keegan say the same thing and it ended up in him leaving the club....?
