    As you do...

With a week off I decided to take she who must be obeyed to Windsor Castle for the day. After four hours in the castle we were on our way down towards the main road leading past the castle when we saw a horse drawn carriage approaching. I joked it must be Prince Philip moonlighting, when it passed I looked at what seemed to be a familiar face in shades in the back with his family. The carriage turned as it went past and stopped at the corner of the road leading up to the castle and they got out of the back. I still wasn't entirely sure until some people stopped him to have their photos taken with him.

Not being one to intrude it was my missus who asked him if she could take a picture and he couldn't have been more polite or helpful. I said we were gutted on Saturday but he was bullish saying "Don't worry, we'll put it right for next Saturday", his last words were "They still haven't gone yet", no doubt who he was referring to. All in all he couldn't have been more relaxed. If I can work out how to get the picture off her phone and post it I will...

Agreed, good stuff Sooper. Massive seeing Sir Neil out of the blue like that - and getting a picture. 'Course he wouldn't have realised the quality of company he was in, not606 original an' all!

Very revealing his attitude though... sheds new light on his recent public comments supporting those 'hero' Goons - you reading this Swordsie?

Still pinching myself, he really did seem totally chilled out and nothing was too much trouble for him with quite a few recognising him, his missus was really nice as well considering it was intruding on their family time.

That last comment seems to confirm it is just a matter of time...
