His attitude comes from the arrogance of Saffa and Man United. 'We are Man United, we do what we want'.
To be fair, I can't stand the bloke but he knows he's only drafted in because we are so short in that position with injuries / Terry retirement etc. Hodgson hasn't handled him that well and has said he was finished at international level. If it was Terry in the same position, I wouldn't be disappointed if he stuck 2 fingers up at the f.a/hodgson. I also think Rio wanted to play but has probably been bullied into pulling out by Fergie. Ultimately we have to look forward and there is no way Rio will be at Brazil so we should be playing people who will / could be especially given the level of opposition were are facing these next 2 games.
England are ****ed now Terrys retired, only real leader they had, **** em anyway, Captain,Leader,Legend.
Is that the same leader, who led by example buckling under the pressure of penalties in the Euro Cup final? Or the same leader who assaulted Sanchez in the Euro Cup semi final, leaving his team mates in the lurch to survive with 10 men, and then had the audacity to come onto the pitch after the final dressed as if he'd played, having contributed **** all to his team winning the trophy, to lift the bloody thing. What a leader JT is
King. I suppose he's akin to Keane then. Getting a second yellow against Juvntus and leaving his team mates in the lurch, who went on to win the final. Come back when you have something constructive to say.
