I admit I was wrong but Nani was the star man. He has gone up a level and is the best player in the league. Rooney scored a wonder goal. Great result and response.

If Nani hadn't been so selfish, it could have been a massacre imo.

Merry if Nani never played we would have lost that game. Its quite scary how poor we look without him in the side. We look very poor and lack any type of creativity or pace in attack.

That is scary. Because when he doesn't perform we're screwed. I hate having to rely on him. Berba's our only other consistent goalscorer. We need the midfielders to step up and get some fcking goals ffs!

And if he'd played for the team, we would have won by more. Being the best is all well and good but the true greats make it count in a team effort. Nani's shots from 30 yards were embarrassing at times. Very greedy. He was our best player though, as usual. I'm a Nani fan. I do not want to see him become a prick who values his own image over that of the team though.

Rooney was not great today even he admitted it, though his goal was out of this world but his performance was average. Nani ran the show and Smalling was good to.

Merry, He has the ability to shoot from distance, the reason he hits it over so much is because he always shoots from far with his left which is his weaker foot. How many players have a weak foot like Nani? But he is scoring and assisting and I cant complain and brings flair to our dull team. He will improve and mature but its time he gets that number 7 shirt as he is our best player now and is progressing at a rate which is eclipsing Rooney.

Rooney was quiet because of Kompany

I'll give you one thing. You will not see many players hit that many shots that high over the bar on their weaker foot in one game. They would usually stop that and start playing for their teammates sooner or late. He's great but if you are trying to justify the selfishness, then you're wrong. It is never right to play in that way and that manner of play did not contribute to our goals for the record.

No player can be perfect, we have Valencia who is unselfish but offers little when we need it and Nani who is progressing and has been our best talent. With his ability he has the right to shoot from anywhere he wants as 1 of 10 can go in and that will win a game.

Valencia set up goals galore las year due to his unselfish play and I'm hopeful that he'll do so again when he returns. Nani's ability is unquestionable. Were he to use it to the good of the team more often, imagine what he could achieve. Being talented doesn't excuse ignoring teammates in better positions. There were times today when he saw his name in lights as opposed to realising that it was a Manchester derby and not a one man exhibition.

The fact he got a goal and assist makes you wonder just how good he can be, should he allow his teammates to help him along the way.

Valencia set up less goals than Nani last year with a extra 18 apps he had as well. I don't buy this argument about Valencia who in my eyes will take over Parks role when Park leaves us due to his age. I can see Ferguson buying a left winger

Valencia set up less goals than nani last year with 18 extra apps. Valencia is a decent player but he will never be a top player

And I can see Nani ****ing off to Real Madrid to make sure his star just keeps rising. They love individuals at the Bernebau. Should that happen, who will you support?

I will support Utd of course but still follow Nani like I do Ronaldo who is another player I admire. Nani has stressed he wants to become one of Utds great wingers so I doubt he off any time soon. He first wants us to remember his name like we do Ronaldo and Becks so he has a lot prove but given him the 7 shirt will be a massive confidence boost.
