I ain't bovvered!

Is anyone really interested in the game today? Personally, I would like to win, but I'm not that fussed.

 

A cup run would be great, if Millwall can reach a final and semi in 10 years why can't we?...

 

Much rather get promoted.

 

Last time we got to the final we got promoted the following season, success breeds success, I'd take the same again...

 

Dont give a crap about it for 3 reasons.

1 - we always lose in the cup
2 - 2 season ending injuries in the last 2 3rd rounds
3 - we need to concentrate on the league
and Ive thought of a 4th
we always treat the cup as a joke as well.

True, but can you really see that happening again?

 

I just hope we don't pick up our traditional long term injury, although avoiding humiliation would be good.

If we are going to Wembley this season it will be the playoff final.

 

In theory we have a bench more than good enough to enjoy a good cup run without risking everything. But Everton at Goodison? I'm just hoping to avoid a demoralising thrashing.

As Aaaarrggghh alluded to above we can field a pretty decent second string plus youngsters. Fire them up and tell them to give it a go

Win lose or draw as long as we give it our best im happy. Good opportunity for the likes of Hitchcock and a chance for Cesar to impress prospective buyers.

 

I suppose i'm different then as i always want The Hoops to win no matter who, where or when and even if we lose as we are expected to i will still have a mardy on and will have a 919 mile drive from Chester to Toulose tomorrow to think about it.
Whenever we lose i am miserable for at least 3 days so could be a good job i'm on my own as Mrs Turkish hates being around me when we've lost.

Also, I have a funny feeling about today's game, with Everton being such huge favourites. Tailor made for an upset?

 

Think Martinez will want to Everton to perform, and win, so, for me just a decent performance by our fringe players.
